Tom Cannon added yet another goal to his Preston North End record by scoring against Blackpool on Saturday afternoon.
The latest instalment of this Lancashire derby ended up producing a dream afternoon for PNE.
Brad Potts smashed PNE in front against his former club before Ben Whiteman curled home a free kick.
Cannon made it 3-0 after the break and whilst Jerry Yates pulled one back for the Tangerines, this was North End’s day.

Cannon was outstanding throughout and was deservedly named Man of the Match by Sky Sports.
The Everton loanee has now scored three times in his last four games and is proving to be a decisive player for North End.

PNE have won all four games in which Cannon has scored.
The hope is that cannon will return to Deepdale for a full campaign next season but Everton boss Sean Dyche may have something to say about that.
Cannon has taken to Instagram to celebrate his goal and all three points on derby day, simply stating ‘perfect day’.
The plaudits are flooding in for Cannon and his PNE teammates were in the comments to hail the striker.
Both Alvaro Fernandez and Liam Delap stated that Cannon is ‘on fire’ at the moment having even scored for the Republic of Ireland Under-21’s last weekend.

Goalkeepers Freddie Woodman and David Cornell both congratulated Cannon whilst fellow scouser Ryan Ledson suggested that Cannon is ‘flying’.
Former PNE stopper Andrew Lonergan stated ‘love it lad’ having seen Cannon develop at Everton whilst North End youngster Lewis Leigh hailed Cannon as ‘quality’.
Cannon has become a fan favourite at North End and shining against Blackpool will only add to that.
It’s clear that PNE players think highly of Cannon and they will now be desperate to see him back in a North End shirt next season.
