Davies never made his debut for the Reds though and was sent on loan to Sheffield United for the 2021-22 season.

When Davies returned to Liverpool last summer, it was clear that he didn’t really have a future at Anfield.
Liverpool offloaded Davies to Rangers for £4million, a much higher price than the one PNE received despite him not even playing a game for Jurgen Klopp.
North End fans expected Davies to shine for Rangers but it hasn’t quite worked out that way.
Davies has endured an up and down season, struggling with injuries and consistency this season.

It now sounds like Rangers themselves could cash in on Davies with podcast Heart & Hand – reliable sources when it comes to Rangers – claiming on Twitter that Davies ‘will be sold’ this summer.
They added that they are ‘pretty confident’ Davies will be moving on after just one year at Ibrox.
PNE fans would no doubt love to see Davies come back to Deepdale, especially as a left-sided centre back in Ryan Lowe’s defence.
Sadly, Rangers will want a decent fee for Davies and it’s unlikely PNE will be spending much in transfer fees.
That means Davies may well be on the move to one of North End’s Championship rivals, and we could see him return to Deepdale as an opposing player next season.
