Preston look set to lose Ben Pearson very soon, possibly even today as a move to Bournemouth appears to be imminent.
The midfielder is in the final six months of his Preston contract, meaning he could walk away for free in a matter of months.
North End have now decided to sell Pearson before that happens, and he is making a surprise move to Bournemouth according to Sky Sports journalist Mark McAdam.

The 26-year-old has been linked with Premier League clubs as well as Celtic, but is picking a move to the South Coast.
A medical is thought to be arranged, with Pearson expected to become a Bournemouth player well before Monday’s transfer deadline.
MORE PRESTON STORIES
When Pearson joins Bournemouth, he will face a very awkward reunion with Cherries defender Steve Cook following a comical incident between the pair earlier this season.

Preston beat Bournemouth 3-2 at the Vitality Stadium early in December, and Pearson was overheard telling his North End teammates to let Cook have the ball because he’s – and we quote – s**t.
Pearson felt that making sure Cook had the ball would enhance Preston’s pressing play, with Bournemouth unable to get out when he had possession.
Cook is a key leader at Bournemouth, serving as club captain whilst racking up more than 350 appearances for the Cherries – so Pearson would be forgiven for feeling like he has a little making up to do with the Bournemouth skipper when his move goes through!
