Preston have another new signing on board in Matthew Olosunde, with the defender arriving on a free transfer from Rotherham United.
Olosunde has become North End’s fourth signing of the summer, and could now be Preston’s first-choice right back next season.
The 22-year-old represents an interesting profile; he was a collegiate star in America with Duke University and has one international cap with his name to the United States.

He was compared to Dani Alves by his former Duke coach John Kerr, and even spent time with Manchester United before heading to Rotherham.
Now officially a Preston player after signing a two-year deal, fans will be wanting to know all about Olosunde and what to expect of him in a North End shirt.
There are a couple of videos on Twitter which will impress fans, one of which comes from his time with Manchester United.
In a Dallas Cup game in 2017, Olosunde picked the ball up on the left flank, jinked his way past three challenges before slotting home.
This kind of technique and attacking ability is exactly what North End fans want to see from Olounsde, and whilst that goal may be four years ago, Preston will hope to see him play like this at Deepdale.
Another clip comes from Olosunde’s time at Rotherham, where he was clearing up after a rare Daniel Iversen mistake.
Iversen came running off his loan against Accrington Stanley but completely missed the ball, giving Dion Charles what appeared to be a simple tap-in.
Olosunde wasn’t allowing that though, showing unbelievable recovery speed to block Charles and spare Iversen’s blushes.
These two clips show Olosunde’s ability going forward and defensively, showing exactly why Preston have snapped him up.
