Preston fans loved Jordan Hugill and Callum Robinson during their time at North End – now they’re reuniting at West Bromwich Albion.
The duo first joined Preston at similar times; Hugill from Port Vale in the summer of 2014 and Robinson on loan from Aston Villa in the September of that year.
Both played their part in getting North End promoted, but only really started to kick on in 2016, when Robinson returned to the club permanently.
Simon Grayson often used Robinson just behind Hugill in Preston’s attack, and they record 24 goals together in the 2016-17 season.
Their progress continued under Alex Neil; Hugill’s 10 goals in 29 games in the first half of the 2017-18 season saw him land a big move to West Ham United.
Robinson was a real success story under Neil, bagging 21 goals and 11 assists in 71 outings with the Scot at the helm.
18 months after Hugill made his Premier League move, Robinson got one too, joining Sheffield United. In truth, Preston still haven’t replaced either of them.
Now, Hugill and Robinson are back together again.

Hugill has signed for West Bromwich Albion on loan for the season, meaning he could end up playing up front with Robinson again.
The duo may be unleashed on Preston when the two sides meet on September 18th at Deepdale, and North End fans have mixed emotions on seeing them back together.
Some think West Brom should be promoted already, believing that Hugill and Robinson reuniting will fire the Baggies back to the Premier League.
Others are gutted that Hugill isn’t coming back to Deepdale, and just can’t take seeing him and Robinson together in another team’s kit this season.
