Preston North End came so close to an impressive win at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon, but ended up drawing 2-2.
Alex Neil took his side down to Carrow Road to take on his former club, and Preston took the lead when Scott Sinclair converted from the spot following a foul on Ben Davies.
Teemu Pukki equalised as Declan Rudd committed a costly mistake, though a superb move saw Darnell Fisher fire Preston back in front before the break.

North End couldn’t hang on for a point though, as Przymeslaw Placheta fired home an 85th minute equaliser for the Canaries.
There were positive signs from Preston though, with a couple of better displays since the 1-0 home defeat to Swansea City last weekend.

One player to earn huge praise off the back of Saturday’s display was Ryan Ledson, who has started the season in the same great form he ended last season.

Ledson played a superb pass to find Sinclair in the build-up to Fisher’s goal, whilst he made a team-high four tackles as well as one interception, three clearances and two key passes.
The 23-year-old is in fine form at the moment, and Preston fans have been taking to Twitter to hail the former Oxford United man for his performance at Carrow Road.
Supporters called Ledson ‘class’, ‘terrific’ and ‘so underrated’, believing that he could be even better than Ben Pearson and earn a Premier League move having established himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet.
