PNE kick off their Central League campaign this afternoon, welcoming Walsall Reserves to the training ground at Euxton.
This provides a great chance to give fringe players some minutes, and that’s the case in goal as Declan Rudd starts.
We genuinely have no idea how the rest of the team will look, as only three defenders have been listed.
The way the numbers appear, it looks like a back three of Joe Rafferty, Paul Huntington and Greg Cunningham whilst midfielders Adam O’Reilly and Jack Baxter would be wing backs.
That seems odd, but the system would at least be in line with what the first team play.
Lewis Leigh and Brad Potts would then play in midfield, with Jamie Thomas as the number 10 behind new signing Josh Murphy and trialist Connor Wickham.
Summer addition James Pradic is on the bench, joining Lewis Coulton, Levi Lewis, Ethan Walker and Joe Rodwell-Grant.
