Preston starting XI: Rudd; Rafferty, Bauer, Huntington, Hughes; Pearson; Bodin, Browne, Potts, Maguire; Nugent.

Preston substitutes: Hudson, Clarke, Ledson, Bayliss, Harrop, Barkhuizen, Stockley.

After four straight defeats, North End will be desperate to arrest the slide this evening as they take on Fulham at Deepdale.

Preston lost 2-0 at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday afternoon, meaning they haven’t even scored for over a month. Alex Neil’s promotion push has faltered in recent weeks, so getting back on track tonight is key.

Declan Rudd keeps his place in goal, but Patrick Bauer is back in the side today after missing the last two games through injury. The German joins Joe Rafferty, Paul Huntington and Andrew Hughes in the Preston defence tonight.

Ben Pearson, Alan Browne and Brad Potts remain in the midfield three, but Billy Bodin comes in for Tom Barkhuizen down the right flank. Seani Maguire keeps his place on the left despite criticism over his displays, whilst David Nugent starts up top.

Jayden Stockley is benched along with Barkhuizen, whilst Matthew Hudson, Tom Clarke, Ryan Ledson, Tom Bayliss and Josh Harrop join them. Paul Gallagher, Ben Davies, Daniel Johnson, Andre Green and Josh Ginnelly are out, whilst there is no sign of Jordan Storey in the squad tonight.
