Confirmed Preston lineup v Bournemouth tonight: Rafferty starts, Riis left on the bench

Preston starting XI: Rudd; Browne, Bauer, Davies, Rafferty; Pearson, Ledson; Barkhuizen, Johnson, Sinclair; Maguire.

Preston substitutes: Ripley, Huntington, Storey, Bayliss, Harrop, Potts, Holland-Wilkinson, Riis, Stockley.

Preston go with Declan Rudd in goal for tonight’s trip to Bournemouth, with a slightly more familiar defence ahead of him.

Patrick Bauer and Ben Davies feature as the centre back partnership in a four-man defence, with Alan Browne and Joe Rafferty returning from suspension in the full back spots.

Ryan Ledson starts alongside Ben Pearson in midfield, with Daniel Johnson working further ahead as the number 10.

Tom Barkhuizen starts on the right as he looks to keep up his impressive form, whilst Scott Sinclair is on the left, with Seani Maguire leading the line up top.

That means Emil Riis is only on the bench, alongside Conor Ripley, Paul Huntington, Jordan Storey, Tom Bayliss, Josh Harrop, Brad Potts, Jacob Holland-Wilkinson and Jayden Stockley.
