Confirmed Preston North End line-up v Queens Park Rangers

Preston North End starting XI: Rudd; Rafferty, Bauer, Storey, Hughes; Ledson, Browne; Potts, Johnson, Sinclair; Riis.

Preston North End substitutes: Ripley, Huntington, Gallagher, Harrop, Barkhuizen, Maguire, Stockley.

Preston are back in action this evening as they travel down to West London to take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.

Sunday’s 1-0 home defeat to Cardiff City was a disappointment, but four points from two away games at Norwich City and Brentford show that Preston can get points on the road.

Declan Rudd keeps his place in goal tonight, but there is no Ben Davies as the centre back misses out through injury.

Jordan Storey comes in to replace Davies, and will join Joe Rafferty, Patrick Bauer and Andrew Hughes in the back four.

Ryan Ledson starts in midfield, but Ben Pearson is out having picked up a knock against Cardiff, meaning Alan Browne will likely occupy a deeper role tonight.

Scott Sinclair and Brad Potts again feature on the flanks, with Daniel Johnson recalled to the side, supporting new signing Emil Riis on his first start for the club.

That means Seani Maguire drops to the bench, alongside Connor Ripley, Paul Huntington, Paul Gallagher, Josh Harrop, Tom Barkhuizen and Jayden Stockley.
