North End go with Declan Rudd in goal, behind a back four of Joe Rafferty, Patrick Bauer, Ben Davies and Andrew Hughes.

Ryan Ledson comes into the midfield with Ben Pearson and Alan Browne. Brad Potts and Josh Harrop appear to be joining Tom Barkhuizen in attack.

This looks to be a 4-3-3 from North End. Barkhuzien appears to be the main striker, with Potts operating on the right and Harrop in from the left.

That could be a fairly narrow attack from North End, but at least Barkhuizen is given another chance as a striker. His pace could be a real threat in behind, which Preston lacked against Derby County.

Ledson is given a chance to shine after impressing in training, whilst Bauer returns to the defence having dropped out for Paul Huntington in midweek. Huntington misses out with suspension.

It’s an attack-minded bench, with Billy Bodin, Scott Sinclair, David Nugent, Jayden Stockley and Seani Maguire all available. Tom Bayliss is also on the bench, alongside Connor Ripley, Darnell Fisher and Jordan Storey.
