Preston North End missed out on Cody Drameh during the January transfer window but he is set to miss a trip to Deepdale tonight.
PNE fans went into January finally expecting a wing back to be signed but, once again, they were left disappointed.
The window closed without a new face arriving at right wing back though two strikers and a midfielder did come in.
For all of Ryan Lowe’s hyping up of Brad Potts and Alan Browne at right wing back, PNE seemingly did target a signing.

Sky Sports reported on January 25th that North End had been in talks with Leeds United over a deal for Cody Drameh.
The wing back impressed on loan at Cardiff City last year but needs more first-team action having struggled for senior minutes at Elland Road.

North End were keen to bring Drameh to Deepdale and Ryan Lowe admitted his interest in signing the former Fulham talent.
Drameh joined Luton instead though and PNE decided not to move for any other right wing backs before the deadline.

Drameh has started twice since his move to Luton but missed Saturday’s trip to Coventry City through injury.
The 21-year-old now looks set to miss out on a game against PNE too as Luton head to Deepdale tonight.
Luton’s official website report that Drameh ‘won’t be fit to return’ after picking up a knock.
Lowe will probably be glad that he doesn’t have to face a player he clearly rates very highly.
Luton went with Alfie Doughty as their right wing back against Coventry but he has also picked up an injury.
That means Gabriel Osho or Fred Onyedinma could come in to play at right wing back for Luton this evening as PNE desperately chase a win.
