Preston North End striker Milutin Osmajic has praised fellow new signing Liam Millar after he dazzled against Plymouth Argyle.
There is a real buzz around PNE right now and that was keenly felt ahead of Saturday’s clash with Plymouth Argyle.
North End sat top of the Championship table heading into the game, which saw Ryan Lowe take on his former club and his best friend Steven Schumacher.
There was an added edge to this game and PNE fans were even more excited with two new signings on display from the off.

Lowe decided to throw Liam Millar and Milutin Osmajic straight into the starting lineup after arriving on transfer deadline day.
Neither were available to face Stoke City before the international break, so fans have been buzzing to see them in action.

Liam Millar turns in dream debut performance for PNE
It was certainly worth the wait as Millar in particular ran riot against Argyle.
The Canadian winger – signed on loan from Basel – started as a left wing back and was simply electric.
Millar made an instant impact as he drove at the Argyle backline, firing the ball in for Duane Holmes to head home inside the first minute.
Millar then turned goalscorer as he ran at the Plymouth defence and slotted home from Osmajic’s pass.
North End had to dig in and see out a 2-1 victory with Millar having to play through cramp towards the end of the game.
This was one of the finest PNE debuts we can remember though with Millar proving to be a match-winner at Deepdale.
Milutin Osmajic praises Millar after PNE win
Osmajic didn’t quite have that same impact but still impressed with his link-up play and so nearly scored but for a stunning Conor Hazard save.
That chance came from a Millar cross and it looks like PNE’s two new men are striking up an early connection.
Millar took to Instagram to celebrate Saturday’s win and his performance, admitting that it was a ‘dream debut’ for him.
Mads Frøkjær-Jensen, Ryan Ledson, Layton Stewart, Noah Mawene and Alan Browne all praised their new PNE teammate but fans will love the message from Osmajic.
The Montenegro international stated ‘my machine’ as he seemingly enjoyed making his debut alongside Millar, who responded with an ox emoji for the big striker.
We can only hope to see more exciting link-up between Osmajic and Millar, who have the talent to take PNE to another level in the final third this season.
