Coventry City star posts one-word reaction after being repeatedly fouled against Preston

Preston were left gutted at Coventry City on Saturday – and Sky Blues playmaker Callum O’Hare seemingly didn’t enjoy his afternoon either.

North End looked set for a 0-0 draw on the road before a crazy last 10 minutes ensued.

Liam Lindsay was sent off for Preston before Coventry defender Fankaty Dabo suffered the same fate for fault down Emil Riis inside the box.

Daniel Johnson converted the penalty for North End, appearing to give Preston all three points.

Yet with almost the last kick of the game, Fabio Tavares rescued a point for Coventry with a quite stunning finish.

Ryan Lowe will be gutted to have dropped two points from a winning position, with North End struggling for wins at the moment.

That’s just one win in five games for North End, though performance levels have been pretty high outside of the Reading defeat.

Preston seemingly felt that Coventry playmaker O’Hare was the big danger man for the hosts on Saturday and were ready to stop him by any means necessary.

O’Hare was fouled a staggering seven times during Saturday’s game as Preston took a fairly physical approach on the attacking midfielder.

The former Aston Villa talent wasn’t too happy with the treatment he received, taking to Twitter to simply post ‘ouch’ after the final whistle.

Coventry fans have criticised Preston’s approach, but Lowe is unlikely to care what anybody else thinks.

North End were so close to a great result on Saturday, just falling short at the very last second. Had the three points have been secured, Lowe’s gameplan would have worked perfectly.

It may not have been pretty out of possession, but Lowe clearly wanted O’Hare nullified throughout and made sure it happened.
