Preston are back in action on Tuesday night, hosting Watford at Deepdale after picking up a big win on the road.
North End beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 on Friday night, with goals from Greg Cunningham and Liam Lindsay firing Preston to a derby day win.
After a run of just one win in six, Preston now need to use this momentum against a Watford side chasing promotion back to the Premier League.
Alex Neil may consider changes for tomorrow’s game, but it’s unclear whether Seani Maguire will be involved.
The Irish attacker wasn’t in the matchday squad to face Blackburn on Friday, despite coming on as a substitute against Rotherham United just six days earlier.
Now, Neil has admitted that the 26-year-old has an injury which has ‘flared up again’ having missed a couple of games earlier this year.
Maguire managed to make it back for Rotherham but is now struggling again, which is why he wasn’t included against Blackburn.
It’s a quick turnaround from Friday to Tuesday, so it seems unlikely that Maguire will be involved tomorrow night, but Neil at least seems confident that it isn’t a significant injury.
