Preston have been busy in the transfer market this month, adding four new faces to Alex Neil’s squad – and there could be more to come.

North End are in a transition period and seemingly going through something of a rebuild, meaning fringe players could be moved on and other new bodies brought in.

One area Alex Neil wants to strengthen is out wide, having told Lancs Live on Saturday that he wants another option on the flanks.

Scott Sinclair and Tom Barkhuizen are the only natural, senior wingers at Neil’s disposal, with the Preston boss highlighting Billy Bodin’s absence.

The 28-year-old has made played just twice this season, and hasn’t been on the pitch since the 23rd of September.

Bodin has been out with a knee injury, and with his contract expiring at the end of the season, some have wondered whether his North End career is coming to a rather drab end.

Now though, Bodin has taken to Twitter to show photos of himself back in training, admitting that he is ‘buzzing’ to be back.

We can’t really expect Bodin to be in the matchday squad this month given that he has been out for so long, but Bodin may soon have a chance to salvage his Preston career and earn a new deal.
