Billy Bodin’s Preston contract officially ends today – and he has now found himself a new club in Oxford United.
Bodin joined North End from Bristol Rovers back in January 2018, but struggled with injuries throughout his time at Deepdale.
The Welshman did manage 44 appearances for North End, registering four goals and five assists.

Skilful and able to go past defenders with ease, Bodin was one of few natural flair players at Preston, but he was never able to really string together games and consistency.
With just four Championship appearances last season, it’s no surprise that Preston are letting Bodin leave at the end of his contract.
That contract officially expires today, and Bodin has now landed himself a one-year deal with League One side Oxford United.
The 29-year-old impressed in his last League One spell with Bristol Rovers, and will now look to find that form again with Oxford.
Karl Robinson’s men are likely to be pushing for promotion next season, and Bodin will hope to play a key part in that after his difficult time at Preston.
