The break from football has been difficult for fans, players and staff, even if football isn’t exactly the most important thing during this global pandemic.

Games across the country have been suspended for more than a month now, and it’s unclear just when play will resume as leagues battle to get games back on in the coming weeks and months.

Clubs have been showing old games to engage fans, such as Preston showing the 2015 playoff campaign recently, and North End fans will hope to see the another playoff campaign for this season.

Players will be working out at home trying to stay fit for the resumption of the season, and two North End youngsters have taken to Twitter to show off some of their skills – from their back gardens of course.

Playmakers Tyrhys Dolan and Aaron Bennett have both taken videos of their skills, with Dolan’s effort with a tennis ball particularly impressive.

It’s the sort of light-hearted fun that fans need right now, but there will naturally be excitement over both players having shown promise in youth team games to go along with their impressive skills.

Bennett has even been tipped for first-team interaction at the age of just 15, with The Sun claiming that a Preston insider called him ‘the best find in years’, so a big future may be on the horizon for the Welsh teenager.

We’ve highlighted Dolan as a real talent too, so these videos in the back garden may not be the only times you’ll see them over the coming years.
