Preston North End defender Bambo Diaby has jokingly warned Alvaro Fernandez that he must return to Deepdale next season.
Fernandez has spent the season on loan at PNE from Manchester United.
The Spaniard has been a great fit as a left wing back in Ryan Lowe’s setup and has gained valuable first-team experience.
This is Fernandez’s first taste of senior football and he can be incredibly proud of how he has equipped himself.
Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.
Fernandez has bagged two four assists in 34 games for PNE this season and has shown himself to be a real attacking threat.
The end of the season is now in sight and PNE have just eight games until the summer transfer window.

PNE would surely love to bring Fernandez back for another year but this could be another Cameron Archer situation.
Archer impressed so much on loan at North End last season that rival interest emerged from other clubs and he eventually joined Middlesbrough instead of PNE.
Fernandez may not be in United’s first-team plans next season so another loan would make sense for the 20-year-old.
PNE will surely ask the question and Fernandez has now been warned by North End teammate Bambo Diaby.
Diaby was born in Senegal but moved to Catalunya aged just four, meaning he can easily communicate with Fernandez in Spanish.

That has enabled the pair to build up a friendship – after all, we’re not sure how many of the PNE squad are fluent in Spanish!
Diaby has now told Lancs Live that he wants to see Fernandez return to Deepdale for another season but is leaving that decision to the United talent.
Diaby did though warn Fernandez that he will ‘kill him’ if the pair don’t remain friends after this season, jokingly warning Fernandez that he knows where he lives.
“I don’t know, honestly,” said Diaby. “Because, if it was for me, I want to still play with him – of course! He is a very good player and I think everyone would want him in their team. He has a lot of quality and is a very nice guy. I have a very good relationship with him, especially, but it is his future and I think he needs to decide that. He will need to talk with the managers, his agent and everything and make his decisions.”
“If he does not I kill him. So, he decides; I know where he lives and know everything about him, so…” he added.
