Preston gave debuts to three players against Rotherham United on Saturday afternoon, which has been a regular occurrence of late.
Eight signings in the January window means debuts have been handed out left, right and centre, with Liam Lindsay, Anthony Gordon and Sepp van den Berg the latest to make their Preston bows.
It didn’t exactly help; Preston lost 2-1 to Rotherham United in a frustrating afternoon, but at least the new signings have their feet under the table, so to speak.

Van den Berg only came on as a late substitute as Alex Neil looked to progress the ball out of defence more efficiently towards the end of the game.
It didn’t exactly work, but Van den Berg may now be in contention for Friday’s trip to take on Blackburn Rovers.
