Louis Moult was injured for the best part of his last two seasons with Preston North End. Liked on and off the pitch he left the club this summer with the best wishes of the fans. He linked up with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at Burton Albion in League One.
Many hoped and expected him to have a good season with The Brewers but he has been ruled out for five months after suffering another injury. Luckily itβs not a recurrence of the injury which sidelined him at Preston, but it is set to keep him out for the rest of the year.
Louis Moult injured his ankle in a friendly against Leicester City and he will be devastated at the thought of facing more time out of action. The striker is 29 now and he will have been hoping this season will kick start his career again. Moult is capable of plenty of goals at League One level and learning from Hasselbaink would be perfect for him.
Iβm sure all Preston North End fans will join me in wishing him a speedy recovery once again.
