Preston North End are eyeing Liverpool’s Conor Bradley and the move would seemingly have backing from pundit Mark Lawrenson.
The Bolton News claimed earlier this week that PNE are interested in signing Bradley in January.
This would be a tricky move but North End will have hope of a favour from Liverpool after Sepp van den Berg’s stint at Deepdale.
Bradley is currently on a season-long loan at Bolton Wanderers in League One.
Liverpool can though recall Bradley in January if they want to, and then send him elsewhere.
PNE can offer Championship experience for Bradley and that could tempt Liverpool into making a big decision.
Bradley, 19, has bagged two goals and four assists for Bolton this season and North End are seeking an attacking threat at right wing back.
Brad Potts continues to put in a good shift at right wing back but Ryan Lowe has wanted a more natural option.
Bradley can provide that but North End are left waiting to hear whether Liverpool will scrap his Bolton loan.
The Northern Ireland international even featured against PNE last season, coming on as a substitute in Liverpool’s 2-0 Carabao Cup win over North End.

During the coverage of that game, former North End and Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson spoke about Bradley.
Lawrenson noted that people inside Liverpool really like Bradley and whenever he is talking about young talent coming through at Anfield, Bradley is always mentioned.
Lawrenson added that he keeps hearing about Bradley from those at Liverpool and he may soon be able to see Bradley in action for his beloved North End.
“They like him,” said Lawrenson. “I keep hearing his name every time I talk about the boys in the academy and the youngsters. He always gets a mention,” he added.
The former defender was born and bred in Preston and still watches North End regularly, so seeing another Liverpool talent turn out for PNE – and one he keeps hearing such positive things about – would be great for him and others who have played for both clubs.
