Video captures former Preston star Ben Pearson's wild celebrations at Blackpool

Preston may have allowed Ben Pearson to leave for Bournemouth, but North End may still be in his heart after his wild celebrations at Blackpool this weekend.

Pearson left Preston in January 2021, joining the Cherries in a cut-price deal with his North End contract running down.

After five years with North End, racking up 165 appearances for the club, Pearson decided to try his luck on the South Coast.

Whilst a key player and the heartbeat of the team at Preston, Pearson has been a little more in and out at Bournemouth.

The Cherries travelled up to take on Preston’s bitter rivals Blackpool on Saturday afternoon and Pearson didn’t even get off the bench.

Pearson was still able to enjoy his return to Lancashire though as Bournemouth grabbed a dramatic win over the Tangerines.

Blackpool took the lead through a stunning Josh Bowler finish, only for Jamal Lowe to bring Bournemouth level.

With just seconds to play, January signing Siriki Dembele slotted home the winner to spark wild scenes at Bloomfield Road.

Bournemouth have now released a video of the celebrations from the bench, with Pearson front and centre.

Pearson, wearing a yellow bib, was on the touchline, all over teammates and staff and shouting ‘get in’ as Bournemouth grabbed their dramatic win.

Pearson may have just been delighted with Bournemouth’s win, but he would have had that added edge in the Bournemouth squad given his Preston ties.

Preston will fans were loving Pearson’s celebrations on Twitter, with the midfielder remaining popular over a year since his departure.
