Preston North End fans are always coming up with suggestions on how the club should be run better.
On and off the pitch, there is always room for improvement, and it does seem the club does listen, at least sometimes.

One thing North End have been lacking recently and certainly something that other clubs have incorporated well is a fan zone. An area outside the stadium for fans to congregate before and after the game, which would help bring in more revenue for the club.
The club have now announced there will be something in place for this season. Whilst only temporary for now, they do intend for there to be a permanent structure in the Finney’s Bar area. For now, as confirmed on the official website there will be a marquee between the Sir Tom Finney and Alan Kelly’s stands providing food, drinks, and live entertainment.
Whilst it will be open for the friendly against Manchester United on Saturday they are unable to serve alcohol on the request of the police.

It will be in full swing for the opening league game of the season against Hull City on 7th August, and it is intriguing to see how it all works out.
The fans have requested, and the club have listened. It is now hoped and expected that the club will provide an area for families to base themselves before the game, with drinks offers, local music acts performing, and perhaps televisions showing the early kick-offs as well.
With no nearby pubs to the ground these days, it’s a huge opportunity for the club to bring in more matchday revenue, from home and away fans. That will only happen if they get it right though, otherwise fans may be turned off sooner rather than later.
