Preston North End have today confirmed that Castore will be the club’s new kit supplier from the start of the 2023-24 season.

PNE have announced a ‘multi-year partnership’ with Castore well in advance of the summer.

North End’s current deal with Just Sport comes to an end this summer and PNE are moving on.

The announcement notes that Castore will provide ‘bespoke kits’ for North End, which will be music to the ears of fans.

Supporters had long grown tired of the template Nike kits in recent years and unique kits is just what PNE fans wanted.

Director Peter Ridsdale believes that the new kits will be ‘extremely popular’ with PNE fans when they are released later this year.

Castore will also take over PNE’s retail output with a brand new club shop and online store on the way.

Castore have been growing rapidly in recent years after being created by Liverpudlian brothers Phil and Tom Beahon.

Rangers have been with Castore since 2020 having moved away from Hummel.

Newcastle United also switched to Castore in 2021, giving the brand two major names.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aston Villa and Charlton Athletic are other notable Castore clubs in England.

Further afield, Castore also create kits for Athletic Club, Bayer Leverkusen, Zenit St Petersburg and have already secured a deal for Feyenoord.

Castore have also moved into other sports and create apparel for England, South African and the West Indies in cricket.

Andy Murray even has a partnership with Castore and you may even see them on McLaren Formula One merchandise.

Those are some big names and PNE will now join them ahead of next season.
