According to The Sun, Preston do want Wigan Athletic striker Kieffer Moore – but he has his heart set on joining Cardiff City.

It’s claimed that Moore held talks with Millwall this week, after they had a £2million bid accepted for the giant target man.

However, Millwall think he prefers a move to Cardiff. Bluebirds boss Neil Harris twice wanted to sign him at Millwall, and now wants him at Cardiff.

Moore allegedly now has his heart set on a move to South Wales, which maybe isn’t a huge surprise; Moore is now a Wales international with two goals in five caps.

The report ends by saying that Preston want Moore, but ultimately look set to miss out to Cardiff.

Moore was first linked to Preston in 2018, but North End couldn’t strike a deal with Barnsley. He went on to score 19 goals in the 2018-19 season.

Moore earned a big £3million move to Wigan Athletic last summer, and he finished the Championship season with 10 goals in 36 outings.

The giant striker is now being offloaded as cash-strapped Wigan look to raise funds, but it seems that Preston will once again miss out.
