Preston take on Reading in the Championship this weekend, but who takes charge of the Royals is unclear amid question over Veljko Paunovic’s future.
North End have been outstanding away from home under Ryan Lowe, claiming big wins at Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, Hull City and Peterborough United.
Home form has been a little trickier though, with just one win under Lowe – and that came in his first game in charge against Barnsley.
A game against Reading seems like a great opportunity given that they have lost seven games in a row.
Paunovic hasn’t won a league game since November 27th and has claimed just two league wins since October 16th.
Reading are in real danger of relegation, and Preston must be looking to end that wait for a home win in the Championship.
There could be a change on the horizon for Reading though, with boss Paunovic under huge pressure.
The Daily Mail claim that Reading are ready to sack Paunovic having lost 3-2 to Coventry City over the weekend.

However, Reading head into tonight’s vital game against Peterborough United with Paunovic still in charge, clinging onto his job.
If Reading lose tonight, you may well find that Paunovic is sacked and the Royals head into Saturday’s game with a new or caretaker manager.
That presents its own challenges to Preston, and North End may be keeping tabs on tonight’s game for an insight into Reading’s situation.
