Preston North End boss Ryan Lowe has praised striker Milutin Osmajic for the way in which he has settled in at Deepdale.
A striker in his playing days, PNE boss Ryan Lowe understands the importance of goalscorers at the top end of the pitch.
Down Ched Evans and Emil Riis due to injury, Lowe was desperate to add one more striker having already signed Will Keane from Wigan Athletic.
North End decided to slash the cash, securing a deal worth around £2.15million for Montenegro international Milutin Osmajic.
This is a club-record deal and PNE have already seen encouraging signs from the former Cadiz hitman.
Ryan Lowe praises Milutin Osmajic
Osmajic picked up an assist against Plymouth Argyle before bagging his first Deepdale goal with the winner against Birmingham City.
The 24-year-old went close against Rotherham United too, showing the early signs of a real difference-maker.
Lowe has now told PNE’s official Twitter account that the language barrier was expected to be a problem for Osmajic.
However, the striker appears to be well ahead of expectations in that regard with Lowe suggesting that he has picked up English quickly.
Lowe added that Osmajic has been ‘terrific’ ever since his arrival and talked up the prospect of him forming a strike partnership with Keane.

More to come from Osmajic
Osmajic is already impressing just a few weeks after arriving in England.
The former Sutjeska Niksic man is still learning about his teammates and ultimately the English language too.
If Osmajic is impressing this much whilst he’s still adjusting to life at PNE, then it’s reasonable to get excited about his impact moving forward.
There may be ups and downs for him in his first season; we saw that with Emil Riis after his 2020 arrival from Randers.
Osmajic looks to be on the right path though and praise from Lowe should only add to his confidence in a PNE shirt.
