We’ve already covered the claims that Ben Davies could be heading to Liverpool, but there appears to be an update on the situation.
Liverpool are reportedly in talks to sign Davies for just £2million, bolstering their centre back options ahead of the transfer deadline.
Now, the Daily Mail claim that Davies will undergo a medical with Liverpool on Monday morning, finalising his move to Anfield.

Intriguingly, the deal will also see a Liverpool player head to Deepdale, with Sepp van den Berg on the verge of joining Preston on loan.
The Dutch defender will sign for North End on deadline day, having first been linked with a move to Preston last week.

Van den Berg needs first-team football in order to develop, and he hasn’t made a single Premier League appearance this season.

The 19-year-old joined Liverpool from PEC Zwolle for just £1.3million, but has found first-team football hard to come by.
Van den Berg will now become Preston’s fifth loan signing of the January window, offering an immediate replacement for Davies until the end of the campaign.
