What a day it’s been – and we’re not done yet.
Ben Pearson is heading for Bournemouth, Ben Davies looks to be signing for Celtic, Greg Cunningham has returned to the club, Premier League teenagers Anthony Gordon and Sepp van den Berg are being linked with loan moves… it’s been a lot today.
Now, it looks like Darnell Fisher will be leaving the club, with a deal described to us by one source as being ‘all but done’.

SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
Football League World reported earlier today that Middlesbrough are keen on Fisher, and Football Insider state that a £300,000 bid has been accepted.
We understand these to be true, and Fisher will indeed be making the move to Middlesbrough imminently barring any late hitches.
MORE PRESTON STORIES
The 26-year-old has been a favourite of Alex Neil during his time at Deepdale, and Fisher was actually Neil’s first signing when he joined from Rotherham United in 2017.

Fisher has struggled with injuries and suspensions though, and hasn’t been offered a contract to stay beyond the end of the season.
Preston now appear to have accepted a cut-price deal to sell Fisher before he walks away for free, and will ultimately need to try and find a replacement before Monday’s transfer deadline.
As for Fisher, he will head up to Teesside and compete with Djed Spence at right back, with his time at Preston about to come to an end.
