Blackpool could pounce to sign a former Preston North End talent with Bradford City ace Elliott Watt believed to be one of their January targets.
The Daily Record claim that Watt is wanted by both Blackpool and Norwich City having impressive for Bradford.
The 21-year-old was born in Preston but actually started his career with Liverpool.
After a stint with Blackburn Rovers, Watt did finally join Preston at youth level but decided to leave in 2016.
Wolverhampton Wanderers swooped for Watt, adding him to their development ranks.
After showing promise on loan at Carlisle United, Bradford City signed Watt on a permanent basis in 2020.
Now emerging as one of the top midfielders in League Two, Watt is attracting major interest.
Blackpool signed one former Preston youth talent over the summer in Reece James, and could now repeat the trick.
Watt was one that got away for North End, and having seen Tyrhys Dolan excel with Blackburn, Preston may fear the same happening with Watt at Blackpool.
