Rangers winger Scott Wright looks set to join Turkish club Pendikspor after interest from Preston North End.
PNE have been busy in the transfer market over the last week, landing Mads Frøkjær-Jensen, Duane Holmes and Will Keane.
A few more additions are still needed but one name we can fairly confidently cross off is Scott Wright.
North End were keen on signing Wright earlier in the window as Rangers made him available.
Football Scotland reported that PNE did make an offer to sign Wright but a ‘lowball’ bid was rejected.
That report added that PNE were not even close to Rangers’ asking price for Wright and that a deal wouldn’t be happening.
Nearly a month on, North End seemingly haven’t returned for Wright and the signings of Frøkjær-Jensen and Holmes have seemingly ended the interest in him anyway.

Scott Wright heading for Turkey
Well, if there was any lingering belief that Wright could end up at Deepdale, that can now be ruled out.
The Scottish Sun report that Wright is on the verge of joining Turkish side Pendikspor.
It’s stated that a £500,000 fee has been agreed and Wright is set to make the move to Turkey.
Wright will allegedly fly out in the next 24 hours before finalising a decision on the move.
Penikspor have won promotion to Turkey’s top flight after finishing third in the second tier last season.
They will of course need some new signings to have a chance of staying up and Wright is being lined up for a move.
This is a fascinating move for Wright and his expected move will take him out of the PNE rumour mill once and for all.
