According to the Daily Mail, Preston have communicated their interest in signing Leeds United striker Tyler Roberts.
It’s claimed that North End have made it known that they want to take Roberts on loan for the rest of the season – but there’s a real battle on for his signature.
The report states Bournemouth, Cardiff City, Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday have also contacted Leeds about a potential deal.

Marcelo Bielsa wants to keep hold of Roberts and feels that he will have opportunities to play for Leeds between now and the end of the season.
Yet with the 21-year-old struggling for playing time, Roberts may fancy a loan move ahead of playing for Wales at the European Championships.
MORE PRESTON STORIES
Signed for £2.5million from West Brom in January 2018, Roberts has notched seven goals and seven assists for Leeds, including a brace against Preston in September 2018.

Capable of playing as a centre forward or as a number 10, Roberts may remind some of Callum Robinson, as he is adept at carrying the ball in the final third.
It seems unlikely that Preston will sign another striker though having already added one this month, though he could be a fine addition as a number 10 should Daniel Johnson leave.
