Preston North End are on the verge of a deadline day signing with Cadiz striker Milutin Osmajic reportedly nearing a move.
This rumour seemed pretty random when it first emerged last week with Spanish website El Desmarque claiming PNE’s interest.
Stoke City, Hellas Verona and CSKA Moscow were also linked with a move for Osmajic, so PNE fans were probably a little bit baffled at the time.
The rumour has really gathered pace though and Spanish radio station Onda Cero just a few days ago that Osmajic would be joining PNE or Stoke City.
Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.
Well, it looks like North End have managed to win the race in a major coup.
Radio Cadiz reporter Ignacio de la Varga claims on Twitter that Osmajic to PNE is ‘almost closed’ in a deal worth €2.5million (£2.15million).

It’s suggested that Cadiz will have a sell-on clause as part of the deal but Osmajic is thought to be joining PNE soon.
If that figure is correct, then PNE are breaking the club record for a new signing with Osmajic beating the likes of David Healy and Ben Whiteman.
Who is PNE target Milutin Osmajic?
Osmajic hails from Montenegro and started his career with FK Sutjeska Niksic.
16 goals in 88 games saw Osmajic earn himself a move to Spain with Cadiz, but he has only played 14 times for them.
Osmajic has spent most of his time out on loan, first heading to Turkey with Bandirmaspor, where he scored seven times in 14 games.

The 24-year-old spent last season with Vizela in Portugal’s top flight and scored eight times in 35 games, including goals against Benfica and Sporting.
Out of contract next summer, Cadiz seem ready to cash in before Osmajic walks away in less than a year’s time.
Osmajic has also picked up 17 caps for Montenegro, scoring one goal.
A physical and speedy forward, Osmajic was a danger man on the counter-attack for Vizela last season.
That’s something PNE may look to utilise moving forward with Osmajic seemingly set to become a North End player before tonight’s transfer deadline.
