Preston fans have great memories of Callum Robinson and Jordan Hugill – now it looks like they’re about to reunite at West Bromwich Albion.
According to a report from Norwich news source PinkUn, Hugill is set to join the Baggies on a season-long loan deal.
His unveiling as a West Brom player is now imminent, with a loan deal agreed. There is thought to be no option to buy.
Hugill helped Norwich win promotion from the Championship last season, but finds himself down the pecking order at Carrow Road.
New West Brom boss Valerian Ismael likes a physical striker – just look at what Daryl Dike did under him at Barnsley last season – and Hugill fits the bill.
This move is basically the dream of Preston fans, as West Brom can now play Hugill up front with Callum Robinson.
The duo were partners in the Preston attack for much of the 2016-17 season, and continued to feature together in the North End side until Hugill’s exit in January 2018.

Robinson left 18 months later, with the duo signed for less than £300,000 collectively, but sold for more than £15million.
Preston fans would absolutely love to have Hugill and Robinson playing together in the North End attack right now.
Instead, Preston may now have to face Hugill and Robinson together twice this season, with the first coming in less than a month on September 18th.
