Preston North End have secured the signing of Cadiz striker Milutin Osmajic, handing him a four-year deal at Deepdale.
It has taken a while for PNE to make another signing.
Our last instant reaction came after Jack Whatmough’s arrival, which came on August 2nd – nearly a month ago!
PNE haven’t let the window fizzle out though and have now struck two deadline day deals.
Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.
The first to come in is striker Milutin Osmajic with the Cadiz striker penning a four-year contract at Deepdale.
The 24-year-old represents a major coup for PNE with reports in Spain suggesting that the deal is worth around €2.5million (£2.15million).

Olly Dawes: It’s difficult to encapsulate the excitement here.
I’ve really wanted PNE to look into the European market for a while now and that has certainly happened this summer.
First, it was Mads Frøkjær-Jensen and now it’s Osmajic, an international striker with good pedigree.
Osmajic is now 24, has a number of international caps and is coming off a season in Portugal’s top flight.
Osmajic scored against both Benfica and Sporting last season and looks to be a hugely exciting capture.
From the small amount of footage available, Osmajic looks big, strong and powerful as well as having real pace to terrorise defenders on the break.
There may need to be a bit of patience as Osmajic adjusts to English football but this is the kind of signing to really turn heads.
The biggest factor is that Osmajic is ours; this isn’t a loan deal, this is a striker coming in for the next four years with PNE potentially able to make some profit down the line.

Josh McLaughlin: North End have ventured abroad again in their hunt for a striker. After the success of Emil Riis and Mads Frøkjær-Jensen, Milutin Osmajic now arrives from Cadiz.
The first Montenegrin player to play for the club is a relative unknown but a quick YouTube search shows he’s a deadly finisher.
Goals against Sporting and Benfica last year show he can be a handful. It looks like he can lead the line on his own as well as playing in a front two.
It looks like we’ve broken our transfer record for him which is a big statement. Whilst Tom Cannon was the target all summer, it’s good to see other irons were in the fire.
It seems the club have also realised that you have to speculate to accumulate. A big fee has been forked out for Osmajic, but if he has a good season he could suddenly be worth £10m plus.
