Preston midfielder Tom Bayliss had a tough start to life at Wigan Athletic but now seems to be finding his feet at the DW Stadium.
Snapped up from Coventry City for around £1.2million in the summer of 2019, Bayliss was supposed to be the future of the Preston midfield.
Yet with just two league starts to his name, Bayliss was in danger of becoming a forgotten man at Deepdale.
Preston finally made the right decision in August, sending Bayliss on loan to League One for first-team minutes.
Bayliss headed down the road to Wigan Athletic, and fans were far from convinced by him at first.
Manager Leam Richardson has stuck with Bayliss though, and it appears to be paying off for the Preston loanee.

Bayliss started for Wigan in their 3-2 win over Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night. The Latics came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in a stunning fightback.
Wigan fans are now raving about Bayliss, branding him ‘outstanding’ and ‘tremendous’.
Who knows what the future holds for Bayliss at Preston given the other midfielders at the club, but it looks like his Wigan loan spell is paying dividends now.
