Preston are lining up Shamrock Rovers ace Aaron Bolger as their latest Irish signing, according to The Irish Independent.
North End have been prolific in the Irish market over the last five years, signing Alan Browne, Andy Boyle, Daryl Horgan, Sean Maguire, Kevin O’Connor and Graham Burke.
Those Irish signings have been a mixed bag so far, but it isn’t stopping North End from looking at more.
18-year-old Aaron Bolger is the latest name linked with North End, with reports today suggesting a January move is possible.

The teenager has emerged as one of Irish football’s top youngsters, and North End may look to develop him just like Browne.
MORE PRESTON STORIES
Branded a ‘nasty little f****r’ by his own manager, Bolger may fit perfectly into the ‘aggressive’ style under Alex Neil.
No contact has been made just yet, but North End could pounce to reunite him with Burke next month.
Preston will want a number of signings due to the recent injury crisis, but Bolger would be one for the future rather than an instant answer.
Diminutive at just 5ft 7in, Bolger appears to have a bright future – and it may be with Preston.
Links to Bolger come just days after Burnley’s Tom Heaton and Gillingham’s Tom Eaves were rumoured to be targets too.
