Yesterday, reports emerged suggesting that Andre Green could be leaving Preston.
The winger, signed on loan to replace Callum Robinson back in August, hasn’t really got going at Deepdale. Green, 21, has only made six appearances in total for North End.
He hasn’t started a league game for Preston, and hasn’t played for almost two months since a late substitute appearance against Leeds. Unable to even get on the bench, Green’s time at Deepdale looks to be coming to an end.
Aston Villa will likely recall Green in January, when his future will become unclear. They could loan him out again, but he is out of contract next summer, meaning they could just choose to sell him.
Now, Football Insider claim that four clubs are already looking to take Green. Brentford are one of them, as the Bees look to keep Green in the Championship in 2020.

Even European sides Stuttgart, Utrecht and Zulte-Waregem are looking to sign Green, seemingly eyeing up a potential bargain move come the January transfer window.
It seems clear that clubs feel Green has some untapped potential, but he just can’t force his way into the Preston squad. Seeing him go on and impress elsewhere would sting, but Alex Neil has to do what’s best for his team.
Right now, that means Green isn’t getting a game. Moving on may be the best move for Green, and it at least seems that he’ll have a number of suitors waiting for him.
