Liverpool talent Bobby Clark is once again being linked with a loan move to Preston North End this summer.

Maybe we should get used to seeing Liverpool talents being touted for temporary deals with PNE.

Ryan Lowe is a huge Liverpool fan whilst assistant boss Mike Marsh is a former Red.

Sepp van den Berg’s superb 18-month spell at PNE should also leave Liverpool more than willing to send players to Deepdale.

That may well happen soon with strong rumours linking Liverpool talent Calvin Ramsay with a loan move to North End.

PNE may yet ask for two Liverpool players on loan though with Bobby Clark linked once again.

Football League World claim that PNE are keen to take Clark on loan for the 2023-24 season.

The Chronicle reported in December 2022 that PNE were showing an interest in signing Clark on loan.

No January move materialised but North End are again being linked with a move for the teenager.

Clark is predominantly an attacking midfield player who can also feature on the left flank if needed.

The former Newcastle United talent played 22 Premier League 2 games this season, bagging two goals and two assists.

Clark has been hailed as ‘extremely talented’ by Liverpool coach Barry Lewtas, who also hailed Clark’s ‘excellent’ pressing ability.

There is a connection between Clark and PNE boss Ryan Lowe.

Clark’s father Lee was Lowe’s manager at Bury and even hailed him as a ‘great example’ to young players.

We highlighted that connection in December and it’s something to think about again with Clark allegedly wanted at Deepdale.

Liverpool may well play a pre-season friendly at Deepdale this summer and if PNE can land Ramsay and Clark on loan, most fans would take that.
